When: September 24, 2010 (Friday)
Where: Ty Residence, San Juan to NAIA 2
What Happened:
Shobe didn’t really want us to accompany her to the airport. She didn’t want us to see her cry I figured (hahaha). But Mar kept on insisting that we do. So we went to their house in San Juan to tag along with Tito Fernando, Francis, RC, Sobe’s Tita and cousin to NAIA.
We were actually running late but we still ate dinner at a restaurant near their house and then we went straight to the airport; we arrived two hours (instead of three) before her departure. She just gave each one of us a quick hug and a quick goodbye before she went in. We didn’t really have the time to shed a few sad tears because the moment passed us by so fast.
On our way home, Mar and I were ridiculously laughing the whole time. We were making jokes out of everything we can possibly think of; it was hilarious (I missed that). And when we arrived home, that’s when it hit us, Shobe is gone. <*sniff*>
Shakespeare once wrote, “Parting is such sweet sorrow.” I guess he did know what he was talking about when he wrote that. Parting is somehow “sweet” in its sense because it makes you think about the next time you will see each other again - after three long years. :)
