Zip and Eat: Ecopark and Banapple

When: September 26, 2010 (Sunday)

Where: La Mesa Ecopark and Katipunan, Quezon City

Who: Mitch, Yna, Tina, Tumambing, Dawn, Borge, and Me

What Happened:

When Tumambing invited me to join their group’s mini-reunion; she didn’t really need to say more; she had me at Ecopark. I love the outdoors - the sun over your shoulders, the sweat on your face, the smell of nature, and the pitter patter of rain. Yeah, I’m weird like that (hahaha).

It wasn’t my first time at Ecopark (Entrance: P50) but it was my first time to try their zip line (P50). If you’re afraid of heights, this will probably give you a rush; otherwise, it will just be a fun ride via a cable line. I wanted to try their climbing wall (P50) too but the rain ruined it all for Tina and me when it was our turn to climb (boohoo!). And paintball (P300) was out too because of the rain. How I love the outdoors!!

Instead of whining and grouching about the weather, we turned to something warm and comforting - food! Banapple is a pie and cheesecake heaven. And their servings of pasta and other dishes are good for sharing - a reasonable price to pay for a hearty and lovely meal. To eat there is a pleasure indeed!
